An apology isn't going to change him

Dan was at the gym he and Alex took a membership into. Alex was ardently practicing for his body's maintenence and Dan was there to liberate his thoughts out in the form of sweating and energy expenditure. Dan was really disturbed by the words uttered by Cassandra not once but twice.

He couldn't digest how easily she dismissed the fact that it was indeed their first times of their lives. Their gifts were taken away by each other, yet at the end of the day it had no value.

They danced so well, but the performance didn't last long enough.

He was envious of this entity she didn't tell the name of. He was one lucky guy, he thought. Or a she.

"What's with you? You never do bench presses." Says Alex, sipping on his protein drink with his sweaty lips. Grunting as he places the rod back in it's place, Dan sits back up on the bench and extends his hand for the protein to borrow from Alex. Him and he were brothers of almost the same age.
