That night, they slept curled up together, their bodies entwined. Penelope felt Liam's warmth and strength surrounding her, and it gave her a sense of comfort and safety that she desperately needed. She felt her body responding to his closeness, feeling aroused and wanting him even though they had other things on their mind.

Liam woke up the next morning with a headache. He had spent the night going over different scenarios in his mind, trying to come up with a new plan to bring the werewolves and lycans together.
