Chapter 11

My heart was beating uncontrollably. The warmth of Andreas' body had me transfixed. Moreover, the scent of his body mixed with the cologne tickled the tip of my nose with an intoxicating sensation that made my mind lulled by it with an overwhelming sense of comfort.

"....nessa, Vanessa?" Andreas's voice startled me, and I raised my face to look at him.

Andreas looked down at his face, which was still beautiful and mesmerizing even from below. It was truly an extraordinary beauty. He looked at me with worry on his face. "Are you okay? I called you earlier, but you didn't answer me."

I gasped again, I immediately looked down then my eyes closed and my lips clenched tightly with a grimace on my face. "Yes. I'm fine." I replied. Since I hadn't heard any sound, it must have been because I was drowning in my crazy instincts.
