‘Jermaine is here?’ Sashal turned her head sharply in various directions while maintaining her vigilance towards Rohan.

When Rohan mentioned her husband was just around the corner, she didn’t expect to find Jermaine is really just around the corner of her garden.

“It seems like your husband had a companion over there,” Rohan said while taking steps toward Sashal.

But Sashal still didn’t give him a chance to get closer by stepping back, away from the window. It was all she could do to keep the male intruder at a safe distance.

Rohan shrugged his shoulder, then complained like a child. “Oh, come on, lady. Do you feel a threatening force coming from me?”

Sashal tightened her jaw as she answered internally, ‘No. Exactly because I feel nothing of the sort, including your presence, that’s why you’re dangerous.’
