"I'm sorry Davina, truly, I wanted to wait until your birthday, then see you, see who you would choose, if you didn't reject us both because of what we have put you through"

"If you decide to reject us, we will accept and understand my little one, but please, don't."

They both started down the stairs as she watched them intently, everything in her wanted to yell to them to stay with her, not to leave her alone anymore, tell them she needed them, needed their warmth because when they leave her she feels empty and cold, but how can she say those things to them after everything.
