Trip to Thailand

"I'm glad you're doing well Thompson…i hope you're not going around causing trouble" Nevena said into the phone. She swallowed a lump which had risen suddenly. It was ridiculous to feel sad. Her brother was happy now that he got to attend school with other rich kids…it was better for him to socialise than him being cooped up in a school where his talent was not appreciated. She felt proud of herself…she managed to do something her mother never did for her.

This was always what she wanted for her brother: to be happy. Always.

"Come on Thompson the game is about to begin" she heard voices calling out to Thompson.

"I have to go sis!... go and paint the town red…do you even have plans for the weekend?" He enquired and waited for his sister's answer.

"Yes, I am going to…" Her mind went blank as she thought of what she's going to do: Read a romantic novel. Take a long hot bath. And finally go to bed. Since their mother is not there…she had nothing to do.
