The New Deal

Morning as usual. Adrian came to the office. What a wonderful welcome he got when he first came back. Greeted with respect and warmth like never before.

He was having a meeting over lunch with his business partner. Everything is running smoothly. There were no problems at all until he got a message from someone who had been missing for a few days.

Adrian read the message, and his eyes immediately bulged. He squeezed his phone tightly. The secretary gave him a confused look at the change in the boss's face. She leaned closer and whispered, “Sir? Are you all right?” she asked. There was a loving tone to the question. Apparently the secretary still has an interest in hee boss.

Adrian only glanced briefly. "Sir, let me talk with my secretary," he said.

The client nodded his head, welcoming Adrian.

"Yes, sir? Is there something important you want to say?” asked the secretary. Her cheeks flushed. Adrian just snorted. Somewhat disgusted too. How could Russell feel at safe working with a sass
