Chapter 50: Eliane

When I wake up from my most recent blackout, I find myself curled up next to a white dragon. The same white dragon that nearly killed me when we got out of my father’s laboratory.

I have no idea how I got here, and I’m terrified that this dragon captured me in order to eat me, or feed me to it’s young.

However, this little dragon seems to like me. I say it’s little because it’s the smallest dragon I’ve ever seen. And I say it likes me because it begins nudging me gently when I wake up.

Then, I see that it has angry, bloody marks around its neck.

“Hey there….” I look on its underside, “boy. I’m going to check your neck, okay. You look injured.”

Instead of screeching at me or blowing fire or something, he croons at me. I take that as a good sign, and I walk up to him.

“Ouch. That looks like it hurts.” I gently run my fingers over part of the wound, watching his neck flinch at the touch.

“Sorry, boy. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

I look him over, and he watches me.
