Chapter 42 - Hope

(Still Author's POV)

"Hey, wake up!" someone scolded on the body of the brown-haired youth who was sleeping on his stomach.

Although not too loud, but the sound can make the young man's consciousness back. Before fully opening, his eyes blinked a few times. Until he clearly saw the world around him, suddenly the large body of the 26-year-old youth sat up instantly. He looked around at the situation and the people around him. 

"Why sleep here?" a child's voice sounded very loud through Royce's eardrums.

His attention was now on the boy. Royce flashed a warm smile at the girl who was about six years old. Then raised his right hand over the child's head to be rubbed gently.

But the man who was with him, who had woken Royce earlier, moved the child's body away from the young man who was still sitting on the ground.
