Brave

Noah's pov

It has been hours since I brought her here. My back was tired from being seated for so long and I stretched myself to run my fingers through my hair. Settling my eyes back on the girl sleeping peacefully on my bed.

The doctor said it was nothing to worry about. She was just tired and worn out after using her healing abilities. And I wasn't surprised.

The girl literally gave all her energy to save me.

I doubted how she was even standing despite it. She was really brave.

Got to admit it.

I mean I wouldn't do this for just anyone. The only reason I gulped that bottle was because I didn't wanted her to drink it.

These hazel eyes...I only want them twinkling and smiling.

Unconsciously I had this sudden urge to touch her, to know if those sparks were just my hallucination or real. Moving forward my fingers I tug a rogue flick behind her ear and my knuckles brush her cheeks un intentionally.

And I still.

Looking at her sleeping face.

My throat runs dry.

There were no sparks. But
