"I was alone in pain in the meadows, with blood oozing from my mouth," Jason mumbled, barely audible, as he kept staring at me. "And you thought I left you. But the truth was, I lost consciousness, and when I woke up and it was already night, I realized you were gone. I tried to find you, but I was too weak."

"Jason, I don't know." I tried to speak, but words failed me as tears welled up in my eyes. The guilt of misunderstanding him for so long weighed heavily on my heart, knowing now that he had never abandoned me.
