Chapter 44 – His Red Wolf

More of Vargr’s army had turned up and we were now engaged in a full-on battle. Metal clanked, and growls were heard as some of the opposition began to shift, their wolves attacking my Gladiators who could not shift.

“We’re outnumbered!” I heard Jasper call to me from my left.

I cut down a soldier his body dropping like a heap of rocks and darted my eyes around the arena. He was right, we were outnumbered. I smirked because even though it looked like we were at a disadvantage, I knew we could win this. “Maybe, but his army doesn’t have the skill my elites have.”

I looked to Rogue who was on my right, fighting beside me. “Rogue, keep the Gladiators fighting with the non-shifted,” I yelled to him while plunging my sword into another soldier's chest, knowing that the Gladiator's chips were still active and they couldn’t shift or else they would die.

nope. don't feel bad for Oliver at all. pretty sure he's the one who assaulted Travis. I hope Oliver gets what is coming to him 100 times over.

I actually feel bad for him. I think he had been brainwashed and really bad examples in his life. He did show some morals deep down. I wish he had more chances to redeem himself.
