(Mazayas Pov) Pain that's all I felt as I tried to pick myself up off the cold floor. My head hurt worse than before. "Please." I cried to whoever was listening. Why was someone so cruel. "Please. "You're mine" Luther said loud enough for every council member to hear. This was a statement he decided to make. He just didn't think that statement would turn bigger than anticipated when Mazaya said "Yes", Loud enough for the whole room to hear. Earlier when Lucas hit Mazaya, Luther snapped. He didn't see how hurting Mazaya would help their cause. So they got into a heated discussion that ended abruptly when Mazaya cried for help. Now he seen what Lucas was trying to do even though it was risky. Luther motioned for Lucas to come over. Lucas had black eyes because of how angry he was, so when he walked over, there were no pleasantries from him. Luther looked up at Lucas while shaking his head. "I should've never doubted you and I'm sorry. You have to understand I was all for it up until it seemed like you attacked Mazaya. I want to apologize." Luther said trying to reconcile with the only God who had always had his back. Lucas couldn't help but crack a smile.

Kali grabbed Luthers arm and leaned her head on his shoulder. She was loving this moment and nothing could ruin it. The room was dead silent. Even Lucas didn't say anything out of respect. Only Luthers closest allies didn't have fear from Luthers words. They had respect and admiration. Everybody in the room that wasn't close to Luther felt the power that was coming off of him. Luther was no longer playing buddy buddy this time around. He learned his lesson once before so he would not accept anything less than complete loyalty and submission. "The laws are simple. You either follow them or accept the consequences. I know everyone is use to the 4 laws that have been in place since Mazaya and I separated but that era is over. After Luther contemplated his answer to what Syn The Goddess of Justice asked he decided to give them nothing and make it seem like it was his wife's decision. "When my wife wakes up I'll see what I can do. She's the one that blocked everyone's memories not me." Luther said with a detached voice. Syn was frustrated. If she disobeyed the laws Luther just created she would be trialed. This was a no win situation. She would just bid her time. If anyone broke one of these ridiculous laws she would have no way to help without breaking a law. It's like Luther covered every base to rule. Syn Looked at Exodus who was sitting down in the corner drinking and she directed what she said to him. "How could you just give Luther power like this? You see what he's doing and you are sitting back relaxed like this is just a normal day. We are Gods not criminals. These laws are inhumane." Syns voice penetrated the walls with the amount of force she used, Gods down the hall could hear here.

The room was full of doubt now. Almost every God besides the handful of Gods Mazaya was close to were questioning her. Luther and his allies created a seed of doubt that was making Gods forget that for the last 1000 or so years Mazaya had not lost control. Once he was able to discredit Mazaya Gods would start to submit to his rule and everything else would follow. They still had a long way to go but the main goal right now was to have everyone in this room questioning what was the right decision. He had Gods fighting him left to right when he ruled before. If he could get complete obedience from atleast half of the Gods who rebelled against him during his first rule, that would be a feat he would relish on. But like always someone couldn't let Luther enjoy his small victory. "Just because Mazaya is unstable doesn't mean we have to accept this." Kye emphasized by throwing the packet of laws on the floor. "Stop this now. Everyone can't be seriously admitting defeat and just submitting." A scratchy voice broke through the thoughts of everyone in the room. Most Light Gods already decided to admit defeat because without Exodus it would be suicide. So hearing someone was not giving up was not reassuring. The last thing they wanted was to lose the support of Exodus all together. "We don't even know If Mazaya really changed anything and who says that Mazaya was even friends with The God of Fortune. So how can you say they were best friends? You are bowing down without proof." Kye The God of light stated after finally getting his voice back to normal. It took awhile but he was able to melt the ice. But it seemed too late because noone wanted to hear him. "Mazaya won't be a problem I'll keep her calm." Kye rushed out. "Listen to me you don't need Exodus and I can prove it. Let me show you that giving up everything doesn't have to be your only option." Kye finished off strong.
