City of water.

I looked forward and sighed as I looked at the never ending emptiness. Miles of open field and The only reason I wasn't completely deterred was because atleast there wasn't mud.

"I guess it's now or never." I whispered to myself as I slowly made my way forward. I had lost my shoes and now the hot sand was heating up the bottom of my feet. I could feel sand being collected by the mud that was doing nothing to help cool of my feet.

It didn't take long for the scorching Sand to have an effect on me. Within minutes of walking I was hopping from foot to foot because the heat was becoming to much. Mortals had to deal with stuff like this. This was definitely not for me.

The hot sand seemed never ending. The one thing I had to be greatful for was that I couldn't die from the weather. The heat may burn but that's about it. If this was weather that froze that would be another story. Time would reset and all would be lost.
