Never love

"Baby I didn't." He lied. He stepped towards me but I put my hands up again.

"You get a chance but that doesn't mean I have to forgive you instantly. You have to earn it and hopefully you mess up before that happens." I gritted out.

Anger flashed through Alex's eyes. He wanted to control me. Blake's fussing had me look over at Zavier. I had to close my eyes because I did not expect to be blind sided again but it seemed today was the day Alex would show how much better his cards were.

"Christopher how lovely of you to join us. Now everything adds up." I laughed as I looked at the man I use to love standing awkwardly next to Zavier. He just waved a hand at me. The last time we really talked was at dinner and that wasn't much of a talk.

"You and Christopher can finally rekindle your friendship since he has all his memories back." Zavier said causing me to laugh. How did I not see it?

Alexander had to many things going for him. He played me. This was never love.
