I propelled my body against that damn barrier and yet she just threw me back.

She was just a phoenix! Just some creature thought to have strength, power.

She was nothing at all.

"Shit with all that!" I screamed as my veins popped.

"Sir..." one of the idiots Rafael sent me called me and I shot him with my eyes.

"Shut up or I’ll send your remains to my brother to see if he can still heal you."

The angel, who was supposed to be a cadet, shrank.

Mediocre.

His wings were tiny, his face thin, androgen - like Lucifer’s, like Azrael’s. There was not even a single muscle protruding from that weak body and it was obvious to him that it was surprising that he could hold that big sword.

"Somebody take the place of that shit," I growled kicking him away, kicking him hard enough to get him dragged by the wind current I created by flapping my wings.
