In the quiet and secluded cafe, Rose met with Kay. She wasn't going there to meet with him officially yet. Also, she only wanted someone to talk to. She doesn't have any thoughts of apologizing to him for snapping at him yet. She met him already waiting for her there. He also got her favourite type of coffee.

"You came quite early. Are you trying to make me feel guilty?" She sneered.

He shook his head, "You are welcome to think that way. I'll be glad if you feel guilty at least."

She took a sip of the coffee, "You must be so proud of yourself. It's annoying."

Kay leaned in, concern etched on his face. "Any luck with finding out who shot you?" he asked gently.

Rose sighed, shaking her head. "No, not yet. I've been trying, but it's been difficult to get any solid leads."

"I'm sorry, Rose," Kay began, his face filled with concern. "I've been looking into it, but I haven't found any leads on who shot you."

Rose nodded, understanding the complexities of their world. "It's okay, Kay
