Chapter 51.

Alyssa's POV.

I felt much better, but it didn't change that I was hurt.

I could still feel sharp tremors down my body, which caused the wound in my side to burn and swell again.

I tried not to make any movements when I went from sitting in bed to sitting on a chair, trying to stay as quiet as possible, lest I draw too much attention and be put through more pain.

But the pain was still there, feeling better didn't change anything, especially after I had been given a glass of water.

My throat was raw and dry, but my body still burned with pain at every movement, causing my chest to feel constricted and my heart to beat painfully fast.

I knew that I couldn't stay in this position for much longer, so I decided to take some steps to the bathroom and I wobbled and fell down.

The sudden motion made me dizzy again, and I closed my eyes tight, not wanting to get sick or lose consciousness again.

It was bad enough that I was in the Alpha's room, and I didn't want to embarrass myself.
