Caleb furious

Caleb couldn't control his temper anymore. He called Lily but she didn't answer rather she talked with Ryan.

“Lily, come here.” He rasped, his breath hitching.

Lily paused and met his face. He had a deep frown that ran across his face. She sighed, nervousness curling her belly. She hadn't thought of a day like this in a long time. The school had taken over all of her time. And her new friendship with Ryan took her mind off them most of the time.

Caleb walked out first expecting her to follow him immediately.

Indeed, she was going to but Ryan grabbed her hand.

“Where are you going?” He asked

“To see him,” she replied.

“Do you have to go?” He asked again.

“I shouldn't? I think I should. I haven't seen them in three months and they got in trouble because of me.” She nibbles at her lower lips which Ryan now noticed was a sign of nervousness.

He held her hand and squeezed it.

“Stop blaming yourself for something that wasn't your fault. You didn't do anything wrong, okay?” He assur
