Lily and Fae left the class for the pack hospital in a cab. They got to the building in no time. Fae led the way to her mother’s ward. Getting to the room, Fae’s mother lay on the bed groaning and thrashing in pain. The pack doctor was close to her, trying his possible best to relieve her.

“Mommy!” Fae cried out.

“Don’t come near.” The nurse next to the doctor announced. Lily had to hold Fae. Some minutes later, Fae’s mom went unconscious. The doctor injected her with a syringe which made her lose consciousness.

The doctor turned to Fae.

“Her condition is far worse than I thought.” He sighed deeply. He cleaned his hand in the sink while Fae took in the new information. The doctor dried his hand with a handkerchief before looking back at Fae.

“Perhaps you should start saying your goodbyes to her because we have tried every single one of our best. I am sorry to deliver such a message to you.” With this, he walked away.
