CHAPTER 58

Grayson looked at the picture of the Cunningham photo in his laptop screen and moved his eyes over the faces before it landed on Jordan Cunningham that same night. The man stood behind his grandfather and had one hand on his shoulder.

“Jordan is closer to his grandfather than of his own dad,” Nathan explained to him seriously earlier that day. “When his wife died due to some complications on the birth of their second child, he mourned by travelling and leaving them with the senior Cunningham.”

“Over the years, Dexter Cunningham was the one who nurtured them, and started teaching Jordan their business,” his friend continued. “However, with the absence of both parents, Margaret, was spoiled by both of them, giving them whatever she wants. She grew up and met Clifford Stewart, a musician. The family was not happy about it especially Jordan.”

Grayson only listened as Nathan narrated how the sister have been influenced by illegal drugs, how she got pregnant with Cassandra and then just lef
