CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

It was two pm in the afternoon on Thursday and all of us were in our business lessons. Mr Smith had said that a meeting or even a visit to the company would benefit tremendously for our project last week. Everyone in my group wanted to visit the branch in New York, but Joseph had made it clear that it was impossible. I believe Jaxon called two months ago, asking for a meeting which was rejected. But they were persistent and had called multiple times after that.

I was torn. On one hand, I knew that it would be a risk for them to be seen with me. But on the other hand, all of them worked so hard on this project to be the best that it can. So when Mr Smith came and talked to us last week, I had called Joseph to arrange a meeting with the nine of us. He protested at first, but then caved in when I wouldn't change my mind.
