Gina Akechi had just got off the phone with her dad, who invited her back to the house for her younger brother's birthday, which would be this weekend. She was at school a state over for her baking. She had settled in, and she wasn’t sure she wanted to go back. Gina, the headstrong sarcastic second daughter of Krissy and Mark Akechi, was finally on her own and loving every minute of it. The school was going well, and she had settled into dorm life and was finally happy with her life.

Gina Waited for a moment as they got to Maleek’s house. She was still reeling from the kiss that both he started and then the one that she started. She was the life your life in the moment type of person, but she had never just kissed someone. It was unlike anything she had ever done, and it not only took him by surprise but herself. She began to wonder if Reena was in the same spot, so to speak with Yuri. Everyone knew that he was for her, how he felt in the long run for her as well. This was new to her. She didn’t know if this was one of Maleek’s flings or he was being serious. He was impossible to read at times, and right now was one of those times for her.“You coming?” he asked.“Thinking,” she said as he walked over to the door and opened it for her.“Think inside. The night seemed to drag on as Maleek explained how he cooked the dinner and what spices he used. Normally Gina would hang on to his every word, but she had too much on her mind at the moment. He liked her. That was the number one thing in her brain she couldn’t completely settle. The darkened room was nothing like the Kitchen. That was a state-of-the-art room that had everything someone could ever need. It was kept as clean as a restaurant should be. He took time to scrub every surface and make sure it was exactly as it was when it was brand new. She watched him as he worked and laughed as he cracked jokes about everything.When they moved to a different room, she knew it was not as clean. It was actually a mess like a tornado had been in there. Maleek was serious about two things in his life, and extra cleaning wasn't one of them. He loved to fight. He was good at it. Having trained with some of the best over the years, he was a fighting machine when it came to the battlefield, a force to be reckoned with both as a tactical advisor and one on one. “Sweetheart, are you okay?” Maleek asked Gina as they lay in bed together, and he was tracing a circle on her arm.“Yeah.” She said as she could hardly place any of her thoughts. Gina woke up again and stretched as she did; she felt two hands on her hips move slightly. She smiled to herself; this was her life now. She rolled over and was greeted by a kiss that stole any breath she had away. “Come on, sleepyhead, we still have a lot to do today.” He said when he was done.“Pretty sure it is your fault I slept so late.” She replied as she reached over and got her towel as he stood up with nothing on.“Get used to it.” He said, and she didn’t know if he meant his nakedness or his lovemaking.“I will try.” She replied as she went to go find her bag of clothes. When he emerged from his room dressed in a tee-shirt and jeans, she was standing in the Kitchen with a sundress on, and he licked his lips. “What?’“Thank you for the foresight.”
