Chapter Forty - Eight

I couldn't stand up because my hand was still bound to the bed but his sudden movement frightened me. I sat up and tried to set my hand free from the belt that held it together.

He wore his shoes and shirt so fast, you would think some Allen was about to come to invade my house anything soon and we won't be able to escape their attack.

"Christy, why are you still sitting there," He said almost yelling when he saw me still sitting down.

" My hands," I moved it up for him to see, he sighed and immediately move to me and unbelt my hand and stood up just as quickly. He went ahead to put on his shirt, he tucked it in. That was when confusion set in, I wonder if we were going to be attacked soon and maybe he was some kind of criminal trying to evade the law.
