Chapter 56: A Portal

Salem's P.O.V

"That's not my problem," I run away.

"Salem, Salem," I heard Alpha Arkane called catching upon me.

He stopped me at the bank of the river.

I folded my arms in anger and my head kept away from him.

"We can't focus on our feelings right now, for they need our help," said Alpha Arkane.

"As I've told Alaric, that is not my problem," my head turned to him as I repeated myself.

Alpha Arkane looked me in the eyes disappointedly.

"Salem," Alpha Arkane held one of my hands. "Please think about the children who will suffer a great cause if you don't give them a hand."

I pulled my hand away from his and I turned my back, still not interested in helping them. What was happening wasn't my fight. I was not interested to save alpha Deucalion's pack after all what was happening was his fault. He not only made himself my enemy but others as well and like everything he had done to me. He was going to make his pack suffer as well.

"Well if you're not, I'll go," I heard Alpha Arkan
