“ Arggghh ” Detective Kennedy yelled in pain as the masked intruder disappeared into the dark . He grunts as he made for his phone by the side of his pocket . The intruder had shot at his right arm . He leaves for the hospital after locking up the office properly .

Rodney sat on the couch thinking about the attempted murder incidence and who could be behind it . He seemed confused , Violet never wronged anyone and his mother will never do such a thing to Violet because she was doing the family of Brookes a favor .

Sloan settled on the couch also with a mug of hot coffee in a saucer with a teaspoon , she sipped from the mug gently .

“ How , when and why did you go to the hospital ? ” Sloan asked as she placed her mug of coffee on the side stool

“ I overheard your conversation with Violet on the phone so I left for the hospital last night ” Rodney answered while his mother scoffed loudly

“ I am not buying that Rodney ” Sloan said furrowing her brows

“ Fine , I
