Chapter 19: The Date - Part One

*Roharu*

-'We have received an invitation to an event.'- Xavier tells me as he goes through the mail.

-'What kind of event?'- I ask as I sort the bills one by one. Technology is a wonderful thing; I easily pay for everything with a few clicks.

-'The annual Gala of the Werewolves. I didn't know they still do it,'- he says as he drops the formal invitation on my desk.

I take a look at it and perk a brow; it is, in fact, very strange. I know they haven't hosted any of them in years. Are they trying to revive old traditions? 'When is it being held?'

-'Next week. But I am not familiar with the place it is going to be held at,'- he replies and I frown. I will have to do some research about this before we attend.

But my thoughts need to be focused on something more important today; Sienna. I am taking her out for dinner, and I have also prepared many particular things to enjoy with her. I am going out of my way to please her, and I know she is worth it.
