Jennifer's POV

I woke up with Stacy lying next to me in bed. After dinner, Debra made Lucien stay in the room with Anthony for the night because she said it would be bad luck for us to see each other before the Crowning and Marking Celebration.

I silently got out of bed, not wanting to wake Stacy up, and headed to the bathroom to shower. She had gone to talk to Anthony after dinner and didn't make it to my room until around two in the morning. She told me they talked and agreed to give the Mate bond a try, but they were going to take it slow. Anthony told her that he wouldn't rush her and that they would go at her pace.

Stacy was worried about how Stephen and Steven were going to act when they found out she was mated to a Lycan. They never trusted Lycans and were just as protective over Stacy as Caire was of me. Hopefully, there wouldn't be any fighting at my Ceremonies today. Stephen, Steven, and Claire would be showing up at the Castle any time in the morning.
