CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

Amelia, the scrawny lady whose body and soul attracted Turstin and his wolf even though she wasn't his mate. She made his heart thump and constrict against its cage, she made his wolf feel aroused in a way that he'd never felt before. The look in her eyes earlier when she was being treated made him feel an uncouth swarm of emotions within his whole being. And the burn on her arm that he had caused made him despise himself a little. Turstin knew that her story, just like her, was heartbreaking and it infuriated him more to know that the antagonist in her story was none other than his brother, Adelard. He busted through the door of the room where she was in and headed straight to the throne room where Turstin was certain that Sorren his beta will be.

He was talking with one of the high-ranking guards. "Sorren," Turstin called to him.

"Is there a problem, Turstin ?" He questioned, dismissing the guard as he got closer to him. "Have you gotten to know why she was in the Murky forest?"
