As she approached that location, she cast her gaze in all directions to see whether anyone else was in the neighborhood. However, there was nobody there, and then she heard footsteps coming toward her from the other side.He started sprinting in that way as soon as he noticed the other guy moving at such a rapid rate. He made an effort to get back up to speed with the person, presuming, of course, that someone was still present.

He took in his surroundings and repositioned his ear in an effort to improve his ability to hear what was taking place. He searched around but was unable to find anything that could be of service.

Then, all of a sudden, he became conscious of a light breeze brushing past him. He looked in every single direction, but he was unable to locate anything.
