Dyelon’s POV:

I couldn’t believe what Pixie’s father was saying. His Pixie is the Pure Pheonix, and someone was after her. Kyro was growling and pacing wanting to go and look for her. That is why we felt the ache in our chest, she has to be alive. “Can you believe that girl was an alien? You better thank the goddess that you didn’t mate her. She must have done something to you to make you think you were mates. There is no way the moon goddess would pair an alpha to an alien.” My mother whispered. I held back a growl at my mother’s words. But is she wrong? It’s one thing that shifters could be mated to humans, but to be mated to someone who isn’t even from this planet, how is that even possible; they have their own Goddess.

So how could Pixie be his mate? I needed to figure all of this out, I needed to think. All this is too much all at once. The ache in my chest and my mother’s constant talk about me mating Dilara was just too much; I needed air.
