29: Godfried

 He walked the empty halls, his hands clenched at his sides as his eyes darted left to right and back again as he passed by the empty rooms. Each of his members up and left one by one over the course of a few weeks. He knew where they had gone, he just couldn't wrap his head around it still.

 "Aiden." He growled his son's name in distaste as his fingers turned into claws and scratched along the wall. The wallpaper shredded as he tore through it, the underlining woodwork splintering off in tiny pieces. How did it all come down to this?

 He collected himself, his fingers turned back to normal as he adjusted his charcoal tie and flattened out the wrinkles in his royal blue suit and continued his walk to his room. Everyone else would be gone, all except for her. His only true ally in a world full of traitors.
