One month later Oberon was looking at another set of closed doors, waiting for his bride to appear. He had respected Rhonda’s wish for a completely private wedding---not a whisper to the media about where or when ---but he was certainly stunned by her choice of place.

He had felt that it was wrong of her to have shunned the high society wedding that every single person envisions for them and it should have been detailed to the last single scrap of high society trimmings that everyone would kill for and people would have spoken about it for months to come as the wedding of the decade. In a way it seemed like she had cheated them both out of something which should have been a happy occasion for their families involved but guess that was never going to happen with their family history anyway. They had taken a lot from Rhonda and him and putting them through a few days of pain was going to be less than anything they deserved
