Bella flinched at the irritation in her sister's voice. That's why she thought that she go back to the restaurant again because she didn't agree with her wanting to increase her payment. She thought there was nothing she could do about her decision but she called their mother.

She couldn't understand why she didn't want to give the money when she was rich. Her reasoning to her was that maybe when she got the sum of the money she promised, she wouldn't follow through on the agreement.
