“It is just a myth, right? It is not true,” Gerthel said trying to suppress the fear that suddenly enveloped her whole being. She really hope that such a thing was only a fiction story, a myth and that no one has been sacrificed to the Hybrid King.

The maid shook her head and looked at Gerthel with pity in her eyes. “It is true, Ms. Gerthel. It is not just a myth. You still have time to escape, the Duke can help you,” the maid whispered near Gerthel’s ears as if avoiding someone to hear what she said.
