I am lying curled into a ball on my bed later that afternoon when my door bursts open and Andras walks in. He takes in my tear-stained face and red, puffy eyes with a grimace. “I guess your little tryst wasn't as fun as you thought it would be, was it?”

Noah After almost an hour, the police and the paramedics finally leave. The police have Maci in custody because she tried to kill Bronwen.
