What the hell was taking Leighton so long?

Some of the Lycans, Wolves and Hybrids had already gathered out back. Talking amongst themselves, trying to figure out what was happening and why I had called them here.

They wait for me to speak, when I was planning on letting my actions speak for me.

‘You need to hear what this dickhead is saying.’ Leighton mindlinks me

‘I’m not interested in his excuses. Bring him now!’ I snap at him.

‘He’s talking about Eli.’

I look out to the group of people that had formed, gradually others were joining them too. It made me look like a complete idiot sending them away again.

“Change of plans.” I mutter, “Go back to what you were doing.”

There are a few odd looks, yet no one questions me.

Rhys and Leighton weren’t far from the dungeons. Miles stood between both of them. His body is frail and skinny from the lack of food and exercise.

“WHAT IS IT?” I snap approaching him.

“He’s going to take your son.” Miles spits.
