The week had gone past pretty uneventful for Nueva. She had been to martial arts training for a couple of hours every day. Nueva was happy that Beta Declan intentionally paired her up with Araya for sparring every time. Araya made her feel relaxed, and they always had a good laugh while training. Nueva had improved immensely from her first class even without Eira fighting seemed to come naturally to her.
Eira had seemed to need some time to recover from their experience turning into an enormous beast and had pretty much stayed away deep down in the back of Nueva's mind.
Alpha Gray had been away busy for long hours dealing with an unprecedented number of breaks in the Pack's borders. So, he had organised a car for her to use during the days.

The glass door to the greenhouse had been left ajar, and Nueva walked into the seemingly ordinary glasshouse. There were rows of weathered tables and shelves filled with potted herbs and other plants. But, strangely enough, Perla was nowhere to be seen in the confined glass room.
