Chapter Fourty Five

Annie had left Alexander's office feeling utterly mortified. She couldn't believe she was about to confess her feelings for him in front of someone ese. Annie and Kaylee had been introduced but they hadn't spent any time together yet. Annie had just been too busy and Kaylee had been avoiding Annie so far. It wasn't long before there was a knock on Annie's door.

"Come in!" Annie called. The door slowly slided open, revealing Kaylee who had an apologetic smile on her face.

"Hi," Kaylee said, sheepishly looking down at the ground. This was her first time having a one on one conversation with Annie, it was taking all of her willpower to control her blazing anger, Kaylee hadn't gotten very far with her plan so far, so she had to try a new tactic which meant talking to Annie herself. Kaylee knew she would have to get used to this, the feelings of frustration and irritation if her new plan would work.

"Oh, hi, Kaylee right?" Annie asked, it had been over a week since they had been introdu
