Kate POV

Cassie and I leave the old lady Wolf's house heading back to the house. I hold the box of pictures on my lap. "Are you going to open them, now? I mean, aren't you this least bit curious?" Cassie asks me.

"I am curious," I say, opening the box.

As we drive past the Omega house, Erick's mother comes running toward the truck. "Stop, Kate, Stop!" she yells.

"Do you want me to stop?" Cassie asks.

"Maybe we should. It has to be serious if she is flagging me down," I answer her.

Cassie stops the truck. "What do you want?" I ask her.

"Did she tell you about your family?' Erick's mother asks me.

"Is that why you flagged me down?" I ask her.

"That, and I wanted to see if it is true? I wanted to know if the Luna is pregnant. You better run and hide Luna Kate; the imperial is coming for you," she cackles and runs back into the house.

Cassie steps on the gas. "I think she has gone mad," Cassie says.
