chapter 5

larib pov

people  make promises they make you believe that they care about you , they come  close to you make you addicted to them but in the end they are the one they hurt you.

in this profession the more the people i come across with, i have come to know that maximun people suffer because they have been betrayed  by the people that were close to them .

i am in doubt of trusting people you can say i am paranoid but the things that i have come across with i think i am right to have such issues .

when you are being played by people for your entire life and then they leave you at the time you need them affect you beyond words .

I was affected by the things people said about me or how they judged me for the things i have not even done.

I  still remember the day my brother slapped me for the first time in my life, and my brothers   pointed  on my character because  of the lies they had. been told .

they were being told by my cousin that he saw me with a guy in a resturant and apparently my  family believed him because  i was with a guy but he was my client which they did not knew.

after few days when they came to know about it they were really sorry for their act but we can,t undone actions  but it was my family and i forgave them but i don,t forgive zeeshan my cousin who said such absurd things  about me.

zeeshan wanted to marry me but i rejected him because he is not a good person and for me a good character is a most important thing .so he wanted to take his revenge from me by making my character bad infront of my family and people so noone would marry me and i would have to marry him.

 

i didn,t met him after that ever in any family occasion i just avoided  him  but recently few days ago we met in our cousin engagment. that also because he saw me in a room alone  and grabbed the oppertunity.

flashback

he came in the room and locked the door behind him after seeing him that day came in my mind and the way my parents looked towards  me and i could not control my self

"why the hell you lied to my family you knew he was my client i told you that " larib yelled on him.

zeeshan grab her hands which were holding his collar "don,t you dare you raise your voice on me ,and i didn,t lie you were with a guy and client or not he was a guy and  who knows whether he was a date or guy...

"ZEEESHAN" sarah scremed on him

"DON,T YOU DARE , if you raise your voice i will grab that tongue out of your mouth ,no matter how much i love you , i don,t tolerate disrespect ." this  time he grabbed her hair forcefully .

"leave me you jerk leave me " she slapped him alot but could do nothing .

"enough of your drama i would send my proposal and you would not say a thing but yes if not , trust me i will not only ruin your character but i will take your dignity  and then no one will ever marry you because no one like used women ."

larib looked towards him terrified because she could not even imagin he would say such things he would go so low.

"so be a good girl and say yes and after this engagment it would be our nikkah because i can,t wait more to have you "zeeshan said while roaming  his hand on her back .

she was fighting to remove his hand but she knew she can,t do anything like the first time when he tired to kiss her but as his sister came she  got safe . she was still hoping  that someone would come so she could be saved.

his phone  ringed  and she used the  distraction to her advantage and ran away .

end of flashback "

its been days to that day but thank god he didn,t showed his faced again . larib was still thinking when her mother enetered her room  .

"larib  baby why are you not coming downstairs  ." larib looked towards her mother to understand what was she saying.

"no one told you? "she nodded  towards her mother .

"oh i told them to tell you to get changed and come downstairs "her mother told her but she still could not understand why

"why mom what happened is everything alright . " her mother smiled towards her in a loving manner.

its  your aunt and uncle and their family waiting downstair for you with zeehsan ."

larib now knew what was happening  she was beyound sacred and she could not say anything to anyone because no one will understand her .

she was so terrified her mother sat infront of her and said "larib he is your cousin my nephew you would be in family with us everytime infront of my eyes darling its best proposal this is 5 th time they are here please don,t say no today "

"but mom what if i am not happy "larib was on the verge of crying .

"baby he is a  nice guy you would be happy he respect you and us so much " larib looked towards her mother and she wanted to scream   and yell to tell her that he is not at all a nice guy how he act infront of people. is just a lie

he is a jerk hiding under a mask of nice guy .but she knew it will be of no use no one would believe her they would all think she is  lying to escape from the propsal

"mom what if i say he just want me he doesn,t love me " she told her mother.

"

"baby what are you saying he love you   that is why he wants to marry you and even he doesn,t love  you  it doesn,t matter because it get vanished after marriage  so it just a compromise. "

"then i don,t want to live in a compromise relationship  , i can,t live in relationship  where their is no love but desires. "

"enough don,t say nonsense get ready and come downstairs " larib was crying by now.

mintues passed she didn,t went down after a while her bedroom door opened and someone came inside .

she thought it was her mother ready to scold her but someone grab her arm and forcefuly made her stand .

she was ready to scold the person but when she saw the person she got so scared she could not say a word.

"i think you don,t understand once right when i say not to say no why did you say no ha WHY ." she knew her mother got her answer when she didn,t went down and said no to them no matter how much she doesn,t want to.

"leave my hand zeeshan and get out of my room you can,t come here my brothers will kill you " zeeshan laughed  on her silly comment and pushed her more in to him their were not a little space between them

she is not liking it at all but she could not do anything but feel disgusted.

"your brother and parents gave me the permission  to talk to you for few seconds but i am done talking and i am done listening to your no .now you will regret saying no to me ."

he threw her duppata away  and threw her on the couch she tried to scream   but he put his hand on her mouth .

one word and i will put a bullet in your head he showed her the gun he was carring under his coat .

he kissed  her on the neck and she was crying and pushing him but he was so strong.

"you said no ha now i will see who marry you how your family will walk in the society with dignity ." larib eyes popped out of sockets when he touch her skin under her shirt she pushed him and ran towards the door but he was fast and grapped her and threw her on the bed .

he jumbed on top of her when suddenly the door broke open .

"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HER "

an angry looking xavier was standing at the door and after a while a shot was heard and it was the last thing she heard before going in to darkness.
