Chapter 46

She is Back

It's been two days since the accident and the doctor had allowed Emily to go home. She hasn't had a chance to meet Gabriel ever since because his parents always stay beside him.

But unexpectedly that day,

"How are you?" someone showed up from behind the door. Emily looked up and she was surprised to see Dorothy standing right in front of her with her casual clothes. "Dorothy?" yelled Emily excitedly. If there was someone she's expecting to visit, it wasn't Dorothy.

"Wanna go for a walk? offered her, pulling the wheelchair closer to bed. "I can walk, I don't need that wheelchair," said Emily lightly. Dorothy shrugged off "well okay if you say so," she put back the wheelchair and stretched out her hands to help Emily rose from the bed.

"I'm glad to have you back!" unexpectedly Emily hugged Dorothy tight as if they were a good friends. Dorothy was surprised but then she smiled a little, something that she rarely do. "So, what happened? Why are you suddenly here?" asked Emily,
