Bella couldn't sleep the whole night. It was five in the morning and she was still awake. No one could understand how much courage she mustered up to reveal her past with him and He dismissed her without any regard.

Bella gulped her saliva and sniffed. Her eyes had turned dry after sobbing the whole night. Her sister and grandmother questioned her ashen complexion and shaky behaviour when she stepped into the home yesterday evening but she dodged them lying it was work stress.
