Jo POV

I look around the room and smile. This is the first time I am going to live alone. I never imagined I would be able to, but after everything I have been through I think it is the best decision I ever made. It’s only a small studio apartment, where the kitchen, living room and bedroom are all in the same space. The only doors I have here are the front door, the closet and the bathroom.

I touch the big plant on the corner of the room near the window. I love plants and I am hoping I won’t kill it this time. I love them, but I always manage to get them killed. I sit on the couch resting my feet on the coffee table and turn the TV on. I only have to start working later.
