Scene 33 : She's Gone (2)

"YOU…!"

Michael made a fist as Arthur face didn't change a bit.

"Argghh!" He finally yanked out. Michael couldn't stand talking to that iceberg anymore.

After Michael left, Ian studied that iceberg expression. There wasn't much to draw from there and Ian sighed.

"What should we do?" Ian finally asked. He knew he had crossed a line he shouldn't have.

The iceberg stared blankly at the blackened paper, which has been spilled with ink earlier when no one able to save. He couldn't get Lilian's gaze out of his mind. What is that?

A Betrayal?

Distrust?

Disappointment?

Somehow Arthur was familiar with that gaze, even though this was the first time he had seen it in Lilian. And as usual, he just watched without doing anything.

He didn't know what to do in a situation like that, which frustrated Michael and made Ian questioned his decision.
