Chapter 18 – Finally Home.

Dad decided we should walk the last part without shifting. I was walking in silence and could hear dad and grandpa agree to sit down and talk about what he knew the next day. Dad wants us to use the rest of the day to let me get settled in and for us all to rest. After a little I felt as if someone was pushing at my mind, like when Sierra talked to me, but still different.

‘It's our mate trying g to talk through the mindlink. Just think about how you let him into your mind and speak to him like that.’ Sierra tells me. I do as she says, and I hear Aiden’s voice in my head.

‘Welcome home, beautiful.’ He tells me

‘Thank you. I am nervous.’ I admit.

‘I know, I can feel it. But I will be by your side for as long as you want and need me.’ He promises.

‘You don’t want to go home to your family?’ I ask him, not wanting to take him away from them.
