Wedding night 1

Victoria felt very nervous today. She had never been close to someone of the opposite sex other than her father. Ara and Lina, sitting beside Victoria, exchanged glances that seemed like they were communicating silently.

Ara turned to Victoria and tried to comfort her, saying, "Princess, are you nervous? Just relax." Victoria responded with a weak smile.

Lina also faced Victoria and said, "Yes, Princess, don't be nervous, just relax."

Victoria looked at her two maids, who were beside her, and felt relieved. It had been the right decision to have them follow her. She could trust them, unlike the other maids in the palace, and she wouldn't be bored.

Time went on and the the night grew darker, Ara and Lina returned to their maid chamber, leaving Victoria alone in the Queen's chamber, waiting for the King, as it was their first night together.

Alexander entered his Queen's chamber and found Victoria apparently asleep in the bed. He wasn't particularly interested in being there, but he had to come  not to originate  any rumors in the palace. He moved closer to her and sensed that she was not asleep; her eyes were moving, and she was trying hard not to open them. Seeing this, he smirked and moved closer, catching her and wrapping his arm around her. They were so close that they could hear each other's heartbeats. Victoria, sensing this, tried to pull away, but he held her firmly.

Observing the young woman's struggle, Alexander bit her ear, causing Victoria to stop resisting and blush deeply. When Alexander noticed that she had stopped struggling, he released her ear and loosened his grip. Seeing an opportunity, Victoria moved to the edge of the bed but accidentally fell to the floor.

Rather than helping her, Alexander gave her a proud smile and watched as she stood up, pointing her finger at him with anger. "You! How dare you laugh at me?" she exclaimed.

"Why can't I laugh at you? I am the King, and this is my palace," Alexander replied coldly. He was known for his cold, cruel, and proud demeanor.

As expected from the devil King.

Victoria, realizing what kind of man Alexander was, didn't say anything and glared at him angrily. Alexander found her spirit intriguing and amusing, as he had never encountered anyone who would defy him like this.

Finally, he lay down on the bed, turning his back to Victoria. She demanded, "Why are you in my bed? I don't want to sleep in the same bed with you. Where am I supposed to sleep?"

Without turning back, Alexander replied, "Sleep on the floor or on the sofa; don't disturb me. I don't want to sleep in the same bed with you either. We are husband and wife in name only. I'm here tonight because of our marriage, otherwise, I wouldn't have wasted my precious time."

Victoria understood what Alexander was implying and had no illusions about being his wife. She had been forced into this marriage, and she cursed her fate as she walked over to the sofa to try to get some sleep.

As an only child, she had hoped to marry a kind and loving young man from her own country, much like her father. But look at her marrying a cold wooden block who neither smile or show any reaction. He only shows his cold, angry facial expression.

In the Queen Mother's chamber, Meghan was sipping tea while waiting for Lady Lora report.

After few minutes  Lady Lora arrived to report. "Your Royal Highness, the King has visited the Queen's chamber. It appears that he will spend the night there," Lady Lora reported.

Meghan responded with a satisfied smile, "How foolish of you, Lora."

"It's the wedding night of the King and the Queen . so  Of course, they will spend it together,".

" Your royal highness its getting late . I think your royal highness should rest" Lady Lora said with understanding.

Meghan threw her tea cup at Lady Lora, hitting her on the head. Angrily, she exclaimed, "Insolence! Are you implying that I'm getting old?"

Lady Lora, unfazed by the outburst, smiled and knelt down. She had been Meghan's personal maid since their youth and knew Meghan's well.

"I beg for your mercy, Your Royal Highness. I never meant that. I was concerned about your well-being, as your health hasn't been good lately. Moreover, it's late, and it's not healthy to stay awake at this hour. I was merely looking out for you."

Queen Mother Meghan sneered arrogantly and rose from her chair, walking toward her bed. "Clean up the mess," she ordered.

Lady Lora signaled a young maid to clean the shattered cup and spilled tea from the floor. Afterward, all the maids, along with Lady Lora, left Meghan's chamber. As the master slept, the maids and guards remained vigilant. Lady Lora was used to sleeping at the door of Meghan's chamber.
