Chapter 34
POV: King Hades Pierce
“What happened to the traitors?” His voice was deep and menacing as he asked his second in command standing in front of him.
Arlan swallowed hard.
Surely, the king seemed so calm while his eyes were glued towards the huge glass window, while his face was rested on the back of his hand, in which his elbow was placed firmly on the arm rest of his golden chair.
But his dark aura was saying otherwise. It was screaming of massive danger that was making him tremble with a bit of fear, too.
“They were already being stripped off their t-titles by now, My King.” Arlan politely replied – distress was slightly visible in his voice.
“But they are pleading to just move out of the pack. Alpha Lineus claimed that he couldn’t live with dignity now. With that, he is asking for your grace, My King.” He seriously added.
The king’s brow shot upwards as an ominous smirk appeared on his lips. His dark aura –

Chapter 35 POV: Tamara Davis She was already healed, and kicking with strength, yet Shahara was so determined in guarding her like a mother to her child. She wanted to put her palm in front of her face and shook her head at the mere thought of it. And she wouldn’t want her to wander around and preferred for her to rest in the meantime. Even though she had already told her that she was already fine, she wouldn’t budge. She couldn’t believe this was happening to her. Maybe, she was just so worried about what happened to her, but this boredom was already killing her. Staying for another minute in her room might have suffocate her to death, and of course that was such an exaggeration on her part – almost but not quite enough to stick her butt into it for a matter of minute more. She was already done reading a lot of books from the library – courtesy of Shahara, herself – and she was already on the edge of madness if not for it. But still t
Chapter 36 POV: Tamara Davis The splashing of waterfalls filled her ears, but the vast cloudy fog made it difficult for her to see her way. ~ Where am I? ~ Tamara thought as her eyes moved around the place. It was so dark, and the thick fog wasn’t helping her at all. It was making her head pound a little bit painful inside. “Hello?” She loudly called, but her sweet voice just echoed throughout the whole place. Her heart was beating so loudly inside her chest – like it was all suffocating her entire system. “Is anybody here? Hello?!” She called once again – but like the first time, it just echoed like she was in the middle of nowhere. Chill started to run to her veins that made her feel the goosebumps in her skin. Her eyes moistened as if she’d been attacked by pure panic and nervousness. Her legs started to wobble, and she let out a breathy sigh to stop herself from shaking.
Chapter 37 POV: Tamara Davis She was waiting for Shahara to speak the words that might hunt her forever. She was hopeful that all of this wasn’t true, yet devastated at the same time, for she knew that it was the reality which she needed to face. Shahara swallowed hard as she let out a defeated sigh. She knew that no matter how she evaded this thing from happening, but she also knew that it would eventually come out. And it would have been for the better if it came from her instead. “I really didn’t know what to say or how to explain it. This thing that you need to know can really make you whole or break you mercilessly into pieces, Tamara.” She softly spoke. There’re more to her voice that she didn’t know how to address, but she just knew one thing – and that was to know the truth, regardless of how painful it was. All that she could think of right now was to know the truth about her. Maybe, crossing the bridge when she got there was
Chapter 38POV: Lamina Darkwood“So, how is the plan going?” She mockingly inquired as she sipped her wine and stared at her husband, who was doing the same. They were all in the study room and were having a small celebration, for their plan finally succeed. She mentally let out a smug smirk by thinking of the reason for their small festivity.“The first plan has been executed, my dear.” Cessair gave her a knowing look.Lamina let out a hearty wicked laugh.“And no one ever caught you?” She impishly asked as she took a sip of her wine.“Of course. The rogues’ tongue was cut. How could they even talk?” Her husband mercilessly stated, and a conceited smile escaped on his lips.Lamina derisively grinned as her eyes moved towards her two children who were just staring and listening to their conversation quietly.Especially to Leah, who she promised to be with the K

Chapter 40POV: Lamina DarkwoodShe couldn’t help herself from smiling viciously as they ate their sumptuous dinner.“I heard that the Lunar Pack is in the midst of panicking now.” Elder Courdamus, who joined them, smugly commented. She let out a conceited smirk as she wiped the side of her lips with the table napkin.“They aren’t just in panic, but they are surely in chaos.” Her voice was filled with pure arrogance, and she sipped her wine.“Merelos informed me that their heiress and that Tamara – whoever – fell on the cliff, and until now, they still can’t find them.” Cessair coldly replied.“Mother, what if they are still alive?” Leah worriedly inquired.Lamina rolled her eyes at her daughter, then gave her a warning look – that is, to stop using that worried tone of hers. She slightly bowed her head because of humiliation.&ldq
Chapter 41POV: King Hades Pierce“My King, I just want to inform you that the alpha and luna of the Lunar Pack are already awake.” Arlan courteously informed him.He didn’t even say a word like he had just told him some nonsensical words.Arlan let out an inaudible sigh.“And the members of the Were Elders’ Council are already in the meeting room.” He seriously added – making the corner of his lip rose a bit.He proudly stood up and moved towards the golden door that had been automatically opened by the guards.“Where is Raven?” He remembered to inquire.Arlan’s eyes instantly moved from side to side – he didn’t know how to answer his question.King Hades wanted to roll his eyes at him. Surely, his second in command was trying to cover up his brother’s escapades again.“Is he still looking for Shahara?” He coldly said &ndash

She didn’t care, though.
