POV: Queen Tamara Pierce
She woke up without Hades by her side. She suddenly felt something was off, and she didn’t know why. Her gut was telling her to go out.
Tamara yawned as she got up from her bed and looked around – hoping that Hades was just taking a shower like he used to do. But her forehead creased when she couldn’t feel him around.
She felt his warmth a while ago, and the proof was also in the disheveled of the bed where her husband was supposed to be. Then, she looked at the clock with her brows furrowed as it said that it was already past midnight.
“Where the heck is he?” She whispered under her breath as she got her robe and covered her revealing nightdress.
She was wide awake now as she decided to go out and look for her husband instead. He might be getting overworked again.
