Athena's POV

"Then why did you come?" He yelled at me and looked me straight in the eyes. It was as if he could see right into my heart.

To see you. I told him instead that I wanted to see the festival. It was hard to keep going when I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I was getting weaker because of how intense they were, and my wolf was getting closer and closer to being out of control. The bond between mates was very strong and sometimes too much to handle.
